For card payments, sensitive card information is processed within the bank/payment provider's secure payment environment. The merchant does not receive or store the card security code. If card processing is inactive, this option is not displayed as available. Confirmation of successful payment and any refunds are carried out in accordance with the rules of the selected payment method and applicable regulations.
Card payments support Visa and Mastercard/Maestro with 3D Secure protection. Only test cards are used in the test shop. A card transaction first reserves funds (pre-authorisation); a reservation is not a final charge. After dispatch, the merchant confirms completion through the banking portal, and the order is marked paid only after bank confirmation.
